Kids rebel all the time.
My BNP neighbour who called my Dad a paki shagger and used to drop the N word constantly now has a black grandson and a Polish one on the way.
When your dad is a racist arsehole, I think you go one of two ways: into it face first like a good boy or go against everything they say and do..

Maybe the whole Restore thing is a massive grift to extract money from the hard of thinking.
Or perhaps it’s a massive grift to make Reform look more moderate by having Restore way out on the right?
Either way, it’s not a serious party.
Well, my 2 comments in a bigger chain were deleted so here they basically are:
1) Roo is quite hypocritical given how extreme his party is allowed to get, like how Farage, who really wanted a hard Brexit, has been in intimate relationships with EU people.
2) [In response to claims that Restore aren’t that bad] Woah, seems like Reform-Restore is turning into a uniparty, just like I’ve been [saying](https://old.reddit.com/r/unitedkingdom/comments/1tmck3c/elon_musk_backs_restore_britain_as_party_vows_to/onlujqt/).
I’m sure his new daughter in law is „one of the good ones“.
Wonder how all the Restore/Reform fans out in force yesterday in that thread about 40% of births being to foreign born parents feel about this. I am sure they’ll find a way to square that circle.
so maybe _not all Muslims are bad_, but uncontrolled immigration is the problem, with particularly large numbers from Muslim countries?
it’s hardly a „gotcha!“ or even hypocritical
just because some myslims are good/bad it doesn’t mean all muslims are good/bad…
I know several family members of right wing politicians. Without naming names, said family members almost always think said politicians are utter shites.
It’s rare I believe these days for the „famous“ right wing politicians to have a happy family life.
Anyway good for young Mr. Tice. I wish them every happiness in their life together.
I mean cool?
My dad is a Farage and Trump supporter and I’m a Liberal.
We’re different people with different beliefs.
> Restore has become a significant player in next month’s Makerfield by-election,
I thought they were only currently sitting on 7%? Hardly a significant player
Ehhh I’ll defend it.
Isn’t this like saying Chris Packham isn’t a real animal rights campaigner/vegan because he went to an event that also served meat??
It’s hardly hypocrisy, perhaps if he ate it but there’s no indication he did. You may as well lambast him for shopping in his local supermarket as they also serve halal meat.
Oh well, wouldn’t want to let reason and logic get in the way of a good „GOTCHA“
He is also a grifter like a Farage . He has huge influence on x where he seems to earn 10k a month as his tweets are boosted by Elon musk regularly.
