      From a health perspective this is very reasonable but there’s absolutely no way this is reasonable from an international politics perspective.

      Why cocaine and not psychedelics which have fewer health effects and low addictiveness?

      Cocaine production how it exists today in latin america is a social and ecological nightmare. I’m ok with it being decriminalised for small consumers tho.
      We should talk about legalising coca powder (the ground leaves) as superfood. It has barely any effect and is legal in andean countries. It offers many health benefits.

      Edit: i have several friends that lost the plot because of cocaine. Noses where obliterated to the point where you could shine a light through their septum. Psychosis, shizophrenia… In VERY short timeframes.
