People are weird. If I don’t like something, I click off and move on. I don’t watch. And don’t engage. It’s crazy to me how as a culture and society people have embraced rage so much. People focus more on things they dislike, than things they like. So strange.

Well regardless of whether you love it or hate it, I still think Travis Scott can absolutely go fuck himself.

It’s so funny to me that they are doing this to Christopher Nolan of all people.
Have they even seen his filmography? It doesn’t scream “diversity”.

I’m going to see the movie but that trailer was boring

The internet is mad because Nolan didn’t make his movie based on a fictional story filled with made up people, places, creatures, gods, and events historically accurate. If that isn’t the epitome of stupidity I’m not sure what is.

What upset me the most about the trailer was that it revealed too much. The teaser of the movie a few months ago showed the right amount to peak interest. It’s Christopher Nolan, people know him and will see his movies. The trailer came out with giants, storms, whirlpools and it just felt like it gave too much. Knowing how Nolan is, he didn’t and we’ll still have questions throughout the movie but the trailer just feels like it took the suspense away.

I guess the marketing for scary movie wasnt interesting enough to distract from the racist marketing they pushing

As a fan of film and Christopher Nolan I dislike the trailer because the movie looks terribly bland.

After the last movie I’m not excited. It’s clear studios no longer tell Nolan no. It’s the same issue George Lucas had with the prequels. They get too popular, nobody tells them know or reins them in and they go buck fucking wild.
Oppenheimer wasn’t awful. But it has far too much of those fast jump cuts that gets right to the point (which I’m typically a fan of) and amplifies it by 10x.
It’s too much. And I’m sure the Odyssey will be no different because that kind of filming has become a Nolan staple. Skipping any of the retraining and prep work for Cooper going to space in Interstellar was brilliant. Giving me 20+ big name actors on screen for 30 seconds as cameos and jumping back and forth within the continuity like Oppenheimer did is frustrating

It feels like pandering…we’ll see, but it feels like it based on casting alone.
