Der Zoll will die Anzahl der Pakete aus Temu und Shein reduzieren, indem er eine Abgabe von 3 Euro auf alle Pakete einführt, auch auf solche mit einem Wert von weniger als 150 Euro. Dies würde auch zu einer besseren Ressourcennutzung beitragen. Für alle Pakete außerhalb der EU gelten neue Abgaben.

Inb4 someone figures out you can import as a business and simply file and pay the VAT afterwards in order to avoid the fee. Since this was obviously lobbied for it would amaze me if they didn’t leave this loophole in.
If you import one item for yourself, then it is bad.
If you import 1000 of the same item and sell them, then it is business and not only ok – but encouraged.
There is of course nuances to this, but there is something off with the campaign against these shops.
