      always amused to see tibet claiming the Hexi corridor and what seems like half of the Sichuan basin. kinda like hungary claiming slovakia and transylvania.

      This is Tibet at its greatest extent like 800 years ago. The logic to draw this map is the same logic China uses to claim Tibet, which effectively is that the borders are defined by the height of historical power.

      CCP bots saying it’s „Indian Propaganda“ based on the map being from India, while conveniently ignoring that the map is from a Tibetan Refugee Settlement (set up by people who escaped the Chinese invasion of Tibet) is hilarious.

      It is how some Taiwanese claims the whole China including Outer Mongolia and the whole South China Sea. No one takes it seriously until someone with claims come into power.

      I remember when they tried this in the 1920s and the KMT started beheading their monks in Qinghai.

      Why does Tibet include the hexi corridor and half of sichuan? What a load of bullshit. If the justification is that the Tibetan empire defeated the Tang empire and conquered (and later lost) those areas over a thousand years ago, that would also make China’s claim over tibet fully legitimate since the PLA also defeated and conquered Tibet about 70 years ago
