We had a population bomb drop on a housing crisis and employees market. For sure this created wealth for many (while decimating others), and also decimated the already smoked reproduction rate in Canada.

From a business perspective seems profitable. Why wait 18 years for a newborn and incredible costs (education, healthcare, childcare..) to produce a productive person when you can just immigrate an almost already developed person from another nation that is almost immediatley productive right off the hop?

As an NDPer that had to vote LPC for decades (outside of 2011), I have always argued for immigration. Not now, not this way.

There will be a whole generation of Canadian kids that were economically forced out of having children, for profits.
