      Helen Mirren and her terrible Irish accent can go home. I do like Pierce Brosnan, but Mobland was really only worth it because of Tom Hardy 👌

      He did the same with Charlize Theron on the set of Fury Road. Women are expected to constantly be professional, it must be enraging to watch this douche hold everyone up.

      If I could post a gif it’d be Lady Hamilton saying „I am enraged“ in black sails. That’s what the headline made me think.

      I’m not sure why y’all are questioning this reporting when Tom Hardy has a long history of behaving badly on sets. He had physical fights with Shia LaBeouf and Alejandro Iñárritu, and clashed with Charlize Theron on Mad Max.

      I like Tom Hardy as an actor but it’s driving me nuts that people are acting like this is out of character behavior or a smear on his good name when in fact it’s in line with his previous behavior.

      This is all whatever, but there is an interesting bit buried at the end:

      I find this somewhat interesting, because removing him would likely further this shift, but also most comments I’ve read about this goes something along the lines of “he’s known to be difficult to work with and it’s a shame he’s a total knob, but he is the main character of the show and might as well not have a season 3 without him.”

      So it’s kind of funny to see there is a bit of creative differences struggle and I wonder how much of all of this is really due to that.

      I really like Tom Hardy movies, that said it makes me sad to hear he’s an asshole. I guess this means not that many Tom Hardy movies will be made in the future.

      They finished season 2 and he’s not back for season 3?

      Surely this means the show is over. He was pretty central to it all

      It sucks.

      But paramount is VERY delusional if they think season 3 will work without him.

      They just better NOT be surprised if it fails. Nor should their share holders.

      Sadly, the show should be canceled. Or get Logan Marshall-Green to come on board 😆

      Put me in the crew that wonders how this show will work without the main character. Sounds like the criticism of him is justified, though.

      About one of the criticisms, that he “attempted to get lines changed during filming, would give unsolicited notes on the script…” Well, he is an executive producer of the show, too. Isn’t that something executive producers do? But everything else mentioned about him is still a showstopper, so to speak. Perhaps season 2 will contain some sort of plot point that the show runners can leverage to explain his disappearance (doubtful).

      That show isn’t great. Pierce Brosnan playing a cartoon Irish gangster was never a good idea and Tom and Paddy didn’t have anything to do. Guy Ritchie seems bored too.

      Big time actor has a large ego. He is late to set. He plays games on his phone. He has notes about the dialogue. He “swaggers”

      Sounds like pretty typical actor behavior to me. But I’m not a Hollywood superstar 🤷‍♂️

      Well crap. He was the engine that pushed that show forward. Every ability to push the characters motive completely revolve around Tom Hollands character
