so… how is it an organization then? No formal leadership, no formal membership, nothing. Its like a boogeyman do I need to look under the bed for poor ole trumpy? Are these people saying mean things about him? Aww poor guy. Maybe he and his government should resign and fuck off?

    2. But…I am the Antifa commander in my state. My small organizations main goal is to make sure kids eat food and tax dollars don’t go to funding genocide. Pretty horrific stuff, come and get me

Try to join antifa, and you’ll see it’s just a made up right wing hoax

    4. Ignoring the antifa part, but isn’t a lack of centralized structure literally the cornerstone of terror organizations? The point is that there is no head to strike.

In case you were wondering, the „Gov’t“ featured in the article is **The Netherlands**, not the USA:

      >The Dutch government will not designate far-left Antifa as a terrorist organization because it does not meet the legal requirement of a centralized structure under Dutch law

    6. You are literally trying to transform an ideology into a terrorist organization. That’s not only unenforceable , but it’ll lead to all kinds of bizarre legal problems since it is not an organization. They could have done something against the ideology in congress, but they wanted to take revenge because Democrats labeled white supremacy organizations terrorists, but they have actual organized structures; Democrats are not brain-dead.

The Government of the US can and has labeled Antifa as terror organization despite the lack of centralized structure, general peaceful nature, and their opposition to fascism, white supremacy, neo-Nazis, and far-right extremism – the very things that up until recently the US government also opposed, rather than supported.

Perhaps they can focus on the neo-nazis and their national socialist contributors, or better yet, how about pedophiles that use children like disposable cups.

All the rightwing parties in the the Netherlands supported this piece of stupid legislation: PVV, FvD, JA21, BBB and also VVD. Especially that last one is a ‚mask off“ move.

Only fascists try to make these kind of laws. Remember who the enemy is. Never again is now!

Leaving out WHICH govt made this ruling out of the headline was intentional for clicks. 😉

How is ANTIFA considered far left? Being anti fascist should just be the standard central position. And if you are to the right of that position in any way you really need to reevaluate your life.

Technically speaking, Antifa does have a fundraising management arm, as well as a national-level activity organizing arm, and those people are paid on a traditional salary structure (the IRS should have their details somewhere). I would consider that specific group of managers to be the “centralized” part of the anarchist org.

Antifa is just 90% myth, 10% real but not organized, not that radical, not that large. Antifa is more a creation of Republicans. They need something to offset the hundreds of right-wing militia groups/anarchist organizations and Christian Nationalists that exists on the right. There are really not many radical leftists. The problem is on the right!

They are so desperate to find radical Democrats, they now want to designate Progressives as radicals. How crazed is that?
