Can you all just stop with the utterly empty, purely nominal Catholicism please? Literally *every single* person I’ve spoken to in any degree of depth on the topic who’s said they call themselves Christian has had absolutely no serious theological or even cultural commitment to the religion.

But numbers like this are why we pay out of our bloody taxes the salaries of priests in this country. That’s money we could be putting towards schools and hospitals.

Stop saying you’re Christian, or start going to fucking church so at least they have to work for it.
