I hate them. Somehow my hate for them has only deepened in the 5 years since GFRIEND’s contract ended. (Happy 5 years!! /s) But to see them consistently shoot LSF in the foot AND actively make the planet a worse place while doing so…Christ, I hate them so much they make me talk like Sephiroth.
I like the song fine enough – Better Macarena cover than the Christmas version! Still excited to listen to the album. Despite SoMu / HYBE’s best efforts, they’re still my girls.

The video is very cute and fun, but i can’t help to feel a bit let down by the song. The macarena sample is cute at first but i feel like it relies on the sample a bit too much, if i wanted to listen to macarena then i could just put on the real song. From the teasers i thought it would be more energetic but the song is very low energy and ends up feeling repetitive. It’s a shame because i was very excited for this. At least i’ll probably find a song i love among the bsides, they always deliver there!

It had so much potential, too. I love the Macarena sample, and I like the vocal delivery of the chorus (though it is not really singing, I do love their tone when they speak-sing it lol). I think that’s what makes this even more disappointing for me.

The sample has not been utilized correctly,it relies on it a bit too much,the outro is literally a sped up exempt from macarena. The production lacks what makes lesserafim’s musical production so rich and attractive. For me,it has nothing to offer other than being an earworm

The main *Boompala* hook is by far my favorite part of the song – and quite frankly I wish the whole song stayed in that vibe.
The Macarena sample part afterwards just does not work for me on any level. I don’t want to be too negative but yeah, this song does not do anything remotely interesting with that sample. The song feels remarkably repetitive, too.
I don’t mind quirky or out there songs with lyrics that make no sense but the lyrics throughout are so clunky. I didn’t think the *Boompala* part would be the most intelligible part of the entire song lmfao.
More AI crap in these big budget MV’s from agencies who can afford the best animators (or just plan different scenes and film traditionally) continues to be a major disappointment.

The Macarena interpolation was cool and the I thought that the lyrics were also good as well, but the chorus sounded like something that would play in the background of an Apple Event where they reveal a new iPhone.
It’s just another unfortunate example of companies making music that prioritizes passive listening and repeat streams over everything else.

Unfortunately it’s probably their first tt that I don’t fw and if anything, I’m leaning towards actually hating it. The macarena sample is a bit annoying and just kinda pointless, and to me at least, the boompala part is very repetitive. Compared to their previous songs and the quality we know they can put out (hot, antifragile, crazy, unforgiven, etc), its night and day. Like it doesn’t even sound like a proper song if you know what I mean.
I really hope at least that the b-sides are as good as usual, and I’m praying that they don’t continue this sound in their next comebacks.
