In a phone call with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu yesterday, Trump reportedly explained that the United States was negotiating a ‘letter of intent’ with Iran that would ‘formally end the war and launch a 30-day period of negotiations’ on Iran’s nuclear program and the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz. The purpose and effect of such an agreement should be clear: The United States is walking away from the crisis.       Look. This is serious game theory. We have to scrape at least something out of this. Hormuz tax expemption? Or put in tbe Army and roll it; thats thats going to be a mf’r….🙏

      no amount of iran bots and America haters will negate the fact that Israel will nuke Iran if they actually accelerate enrichment

      reality is just hard for some people to accept

      Who could’ve imagined that something like war is easier to start than to end?

    5. Longer term, Gulf states and presumably other countries will try to find ways to by-pass the Strait of Hormuz, e.g. new pipelines that bring oil and gas to Red Sea ports. However, it’s difficult to see how other commodities such as phosphate and urea can be transported in this way.
