So what’s the endgame here? Are they going to just ask the doctors to earn less to fit in the budget?

Because for those top doctors they can probably not work in the public hospitals but public hospitals can’t work without them. This is why they make so much money.

Doctors need to earn well but I do not see why ANYONE (regardless of position and prestige) should earn more than 50k a month. Not even prime minister

      Sounds like governmental overreach.

20k-30k gross per month for a doctor with six years of experience ( quoting from the article ) is completely acceptable in an EU country, don’t get what the fuss is about, it is not even 10k euro/month.

The 600 docs who make more than 100k gross per month are likely working in high earning specialties like invasive cardiology or orthopedic surgery, so maybe blame the free market instead of using their earnings as a club to attack all the other docs.

It is high time Poland started paying doctors, nurses and EMTs good money, for decades now the country has been training them on taxypayer dime only to see them move to states who offer better pay.

    4. Simply deregulate Universities. Current government along with doctors artificially limits of seats on specializations in the med schools. Each year they set up amount of doctors that can attend. Shortage of the doctors on the market is insane.

If 2 doctors eat up 2 millions per year from a small town hospital than it is a problem.
