It’s niche, quirky and really petty – thus I am all for it.
Verily, Oliver Cromwell did survive war, plague, and Parliament – only to be slain by a creature whose greatest weapon was an itchy arse.

Honestly it could work as a novelty.
Should we get over it? Probably. However at the same time I don’t know if many people would think a tiny statue of a mosquito is screaming that we’re scarred and are still in the trauma dumping stage.
It’s a unique way of bringing up the past and saying that we’re not exactly a fan of the guy, without all the drama.
I thought they were voting on it a few days ago….?
It should have a big plinth and a tiny statue on top.

This would be actually be amazing 😂 Would also love a donation box beside it to raise money for things like the elderly London Irish, Irish language initiatives, Irish cultural initiatives etc…
