      sadly meh, only like the mingtion ballad, but its good to have them back, idk if theyre promoting but maybe seeing suddenly on music shows will make me fonder of it

      im too excited about there being new, good music from ioi to have much to say about the songs individually yet, but i’ll be back with an edit. still, love the album and love the girls. this is such a good anniversary release ♡

      I honestly don’t know anything about I.O.I. since i only started getting into Kpop in 2020, and at that point, I only knew Somi’s solo stuff and some of Seojeong’s dramas. When I learned they were releasing songs for their anniversary, I listened to their songs and I mostly didn’t really vibe with them. So far, I have only listened to „Suddenly“ and I do like the retro feel and melody to it. Already added this to my playlist while I listen to the rest.

      Im enjoying ioi where my girls at. Its the Somi composed track, which makes sense since ive always enjoyed her composed songs

      I love it! Where My Girls At is a bop. Then, Now and Forever is beautiful and I would love to hear them perform it. If I is so catchy and my favorite on the album. Suddenly is not the strongest track for me so I hope people listen to the full EP.

      Love the album! Felt like they tapped into the 3rd gen sound with a more modern twist. Then, Now and Forever is such an amazing ballad. The nostalgia and the feeling of the album takes me back. This was well done.

      this whole album is such a blessing, the last 2 ballads are tearjerkers and bring back so much memories, same with the title, IOI is forever

      Did Chaeyeon only sing like one word on the title track? Getting my info from Genius so it could be wrong but I couldn’t recognise her voice that well

      OMG can’t imagine I finally get to review an IOI album in real time?!?!?

      1. IOI (where my girls at?) – I think now I’m realizing I’m not really a fan of Somi/TBL production. This felt more like an intro than an actual song. It felt like it was just random fillers thrown around with IOI. My least fave from this album.

      2. Suddenly – THIS IS A GROWER!! I wasn’t too sure on the direction this song will take when it was first teased, but after listening to it a couple more times, it actually sounds even better each time?? A fresh sound from all the releases lately.

      3. SPF 100 – From the highlight medley, this was one of the songs that stuck with me. Honestly, at first listen it felt underwhelming, like it was incomplete. But on re-listens I started liking it agains so much. One of my favs.

      4. IF I – Such a good song!! I loved this at first listen and was surprised that Yeonjung helped in composing?? She should do more of that!

      5. Then, Now and Forever – The vocal matchups between Sejeong, Yeonjung and Chungha was amazing, but honestly felt like the way each of their voices was utilized felt a little disjointed. BUT A GOOD BALLAD!!

      I’m so happy. I’ve really missed these girls together. I’ll be listening to this album on repeat for a while for sure. I only wish it were longer <3

      – The MV felt very IOI but subdued and grown up. They brought back colors. MVs are grayed out nowadays, and I appreciate that they were put in bright random colors (albeit soft tones). And like with their previous MVs, they’re each doing their own random thing in each scene – very reminiscent.
      – I appreciate the practically all-Korean lyrics (something rare nowadays). While I didn’t think we’d get the same earworm-type song as they’ve matured now, I wish it was a little catchier (Kpop needs more iconic choruses). And I wish they blended their voices in the chorus 🙁 But man, the sentimental retro vibe and the meaning of the lyrics hit so hard that I’ve not stopped replaying the song.
      – The other songs in the album are okay. We have a trendy club song, a summer song, a b-side that sounds like a kpop b-side, and a sentimental ballad (where they always shine the best). I understand production and budget must have been hell, but you can kinda feel it and that they’re just trying their best. I hope to grow to like it.

      Regardless, I will forever be grateful for the 10th year anniversary gift and all the content that comes with it. I can only hope to go to their concert.

      I’ve never really been a ballad person but I really do feel them in the ballads. I really enjoy the first 4 songs more. I enjoy where my girls at, it’s a bop. Suddenly feels so nostalgic.
