      As much as I’d love for them to respect other cultures and traditions – this is just kiss ass. Wish they had respected some earlier pm or president. This guy is a shame.

      Hei, jeg kommer fra India. I expected this from Sweden, but not from you guys too. He’s a literal dictator. Just 5 days before this 5-country tour, he addressed the nation urging people to reduce fossil fuel and chemical fertilizer usage, even though fossil fuels are the primary source of energy in our country and agriculture is the backbone of our economy. After all that fearmongering, he flies off on his state visits while people back home struggle with sky-high fuel prices and a limited supply of natural gas. He has no regard for the wellness of his people and that’s all aside from his great achievements in manufacturing hate against certain minorities just to get the votes of the fearful and uneducated masses.

      Why???. This is so disappointing. As an Indian living in Norway, it feels sad that the Norway will award him. This guy’s party openly supports discriminatory policies against minorities including muslims and sikhs, he has tanked Indian economy so hard that Indian rupee is generationally high and his diplomacy is so great that Indian industries might ne running out of fuel in next few days.

      This award will be used as a example by his dumb supporters to parade around and say oh how great he is, with great unverified WhatsApp forwards. Norway greatly insists on democratic values- but his party, BJP is repressing voters by deleting them from voters list, the government is freezing bank accounts of opposition parties, and this guy has not done a single press conference since he became prime minister in 2014.

      Moreover, culturally, instead of focusing on developing a science and scientific temper, his party and supporters are literally funding research like how to use cow piss and benefits of cow shit, in premium Indian institutes of technology.
