Looks more like the Russian shot a shaped charge munition the drone was carrying which happened to blast straight towards them.
If Ukraine developed something to blast soldiers like this then the logical reason is to make the drone reusable. Here it is clearly not!

It doesn’t sound feasible to use shaped charges against soft (orc) targets when you can just fly the drone directly to target.

This looks like a regular shaped charge warhead remote detonated mid-air. Remote detonated charges instead of conctact-based have been in use for a long time already. So nothing new really.

The guy was clearly firing at the drone with his rifle, and the drone was coming straight at him.
So instead of onboard AI wizardry, this could also simply be that one of his rounds did successfully hit the drone in the right spot to make it detonate, but the guy was also directly in the path of the shaped charge, *because* the drone was coming at him.
It’s not a particularly unlikely coincidence, and with enough videos of FPV hits, it’s pretty much bound to happen.
This is a turning point in modern warfare we are witnessing together.
