I suspect the majority are ethnic Armenians, that said, maybe it’s time to tighten up the requirements for non ethnic Armenians to apply for naturalisation.

I don’t get why the government doesn’t take the right steps for the return of Armenians.
Get rid of mandatory military service for those born outside or have lived outside for a long time.
Give them income tax breaks.
so on and so forth.
and no one will renounce their citizenship and many will return and live or acquire the citizenship.
but nah, lets flood the country with foreigners.
ps: nothing against foreigners, but Armenians should be prioritized.

Something is off. The top 10 is about 12k with the total of 25k? Meaning an additional 12-13k is made up from countries of less than 77 each?

I wish they would mention the ethnic background of the applicants. Maybe also include the path to citizenship submitted.

Considering how uber nationalist the diaspora in the United States is, that is a pathetically low re-pat number.
I guess calling for a revolution to start a new war with Azerbaijan is easier from the comforts of Los Angeles.
