Submission statement: President Trump told Axios in a phone call that „the clock is ticking“ for Iran and warned that if the Iranian regime doesn’t come with a better offer for a deal „they are going to get hit much harder.“.

The message came as the president was due to speak with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Sunday.
Trump warned earlier this week that the ceasefire agreed with Iran was on „massive life support“ after rejecting Tehran’s demands to end the war.
Trump had labelled the Iranian counter to US proposals „totally unacceptable“.
Esmail Baghaei, an Iranian foreign ministry spokesperson, insisted it was „responsible“ and „generous“.
According to Iran’s semi-official Tasnim news agency, it includes an immediate end to the war on all fronts – a reference to the continued Israeli attacks against Iran-supported Hezbollah in Lebanon – a halt to the US naval blockade of Iranian ports, and guarantees of no further attacks on Iran.

      >Trump is expected to hold a Situation Room meeting with his top national security team on Tuesday to discuss the options for military action, two U.S. officials said.

Even Axios has finally given up on being used as a siren call for rallying the markets. I’d say that it would be stupidly reckless to reconvene hostilities while U.S interceptor and munitions stockpiles aren’t adequately replenished, but ’stupidly reckless‘ has been the entire M.O of this administration

It’s gone for absurd to legitimately impressive in how long he’s kept this going. Trump’s a fool in many regards but he might actually be the most significant conman in history.

    4. Stop trying to get a deal with the Islamic Republic.

Just keep decapitating their leadership and demand their surrender.

      Secure the Hormuz straits.

What can he do? He can’t disable Iran’s missiles. If he starts things back up, even if he does go after civilian infrastructure, it won’t be as bad for Iran as it would be for Israel and the GCC. The problem with this conflict is how easily it could go nuclear. The US is backed into a corner on this one. The only way they can destroy Iran’s offensive capability is to either quickly manufacture enough bunker buster bombs or use nuclear weapons. Which do you think Trump would do? Yep, that’s right, the total hypocrisy.
