Not just a Japan thing?
The current generation has totally forgotten how to communicate with each in real life. Hopefully the next generation of youngsters learns from them and decides that meeting people the old fashioned way is “cooler” like they do with wired headphones and retro clothing.
I’ve been out of dating game for a couple of years now. Is it like, the top 10% of the guys, date 90% of the women?
It’s worldwide — not just Japan.
Most people using dating apps are trying to match with the top 5% of the most attractive or “interesting” people.
Therefore, many users end up pretending to be a “better version” of themselves, while others end up feeling depressed because they aren’t chosen.
