My wife (from a country far far away) told me she had only ever seen The Ewok Adventure repeatedly as a child and wasn’t aware there were any other Star Wars films. That seemed like a horrifying alternate reality. Just imagine if that was it…

I was born in 1986 and I could have sworn there was a bunch of Ewoks stuff on TV when I was a very little kid. The Stars Wars stuff I can vaguely remember seeing around probably 1990 and early 90s was very Ewoks-forward. (That reminds me of how when the Ghostbusters movie was on TV it was always Ghostbusters 2 and never Ghostbusters 1.)
That there were 2 Ewoks TV movies + 2 seasons of an Ewoks TV show released 1984-86 explains why that was the case.
Ewoks must have been *hot-hot-hot* in the mid to late 80s.
Then in the late 90s when the new Star Wars movies were made they were were *huuuge* and everywhere. There was that very long dry spell of over a decade.

Man, i was a child when i saw Star Wars in a cinema back in the 70s. Star Wars was once the biggest thing for me. Now, i do not even care if there is another spin-off/prequel/sequel/somewhat somewhere to be released.
