Banpo bridge is nice when the fountain show is running at night, but during the rest of the time the bridge is average.
I think Woljeonggyo in Gyeongju is the nicest looking bridge in Korea.
Gwangan in Busan is another nice one.

That’s not a bridge, that is a gay submarine surfacing from the ocean.

LED lights are to the cityscape what plastic surgery is to a face. A couple of decades back, I jokingly suggested to a friend how funny it would be if there were one of those giant, super-expensive coffee table architecture books titled, „The Bridges of Seoul.“
The book would feature every single bridge in Seoul in its magnificent ordinary-ness, with multiple fold out pages of images, the bridge’s history, the architect and engineering firm, and the bridge’s specs on the bottom right of the right-hand page. We used to chuckle amongst ourselves at the absurdity of such a book, as if the bridges were the equivalents of the Eiffel Tower or the Golden Gate Bridge.
Fast forward a few decades, add some LED lights, and now tourists will gladly flock to the 고수부지 areas to take night photos of the bridges for their TikTok and Instagram.
