It should. And idk at what point it will infuriate enough of America to make it stop. Imagine how amazing our country would be if we spent that money on our own citizens. Our national parks would be flawless. Our public transportation would be unmatched. We could have a universal healthcare. No school would be lacking.
All the other countries listed have suffered in some way because of wars that we were directly involved in. Israel has benefited from nearly every war we’ve been involved in. WTF?
This is only a drop in the bucket compared to what they have got by controlling our government

Their new talking point is that they “want to ween themselves from American assistance”, and it’s been said repeatedly by their propagandists. It’s a vassal state of Israel since 2014. Just like America has been since Kennedy was killed. So go ahead and roll all that “Ukraine” aid into Israel too
America has given a similar amount to Ukraine and it was done over a much shorter period of time.

As a citizen of a poor, 3rd world country I’d politely ask them to take their aid up their ass and leave us alone. Don’t need anything from them or the entire so called “civilised world”.
$317 billion is a laughable numbet…..its much more than that. The Iraq/AFG wars by themselves were $7-8trillion. Thats not counting Syria, Libya, Tunisia, Iran etc etc. Plus, the direct payments are one thing…but the 2nd Order costs are way more. I.e. inflation & high interests rates of the 1970’s bc of the OPEC oil embargo bc we armed & supported them during the 1973 war. Its endless things like that. True costs is tens of trillion$$$
