Looks to me like he was surprised by the Russians sudden arrival, gun at ease, realising the Russian isnt coming to kill him pulls the gun smoothly to the hip and starts blasting. Lucky they are so dumb

Edit: at the start there is an edited part you see him gesturing to the Russian so maybe they were both confused but the Ukrainian kept his wits about him.

    2. Looks to me that both of them mistake the other one for their own. Given the ukranian soldier’s chill pose at the beginning. Luckily, the Ukrainian soldier acknowledged his mistake first.

    3. Il faut que la Russie se dise qu’il n’y aura ni pitié, ni pardon. La Russie doit payer ses actes.

    4. Why does that Ukrainian stand out in the open like that instead of cover himself?

I wonder how that conversation played out. It looked like they were talking to each other before the first shot was fired.

Does anyone know what is the award/incentive in AFU for capturing alive russian POW?

Yesterday there was exchange of POW, russians still hold Azov steel plant POW from the first month of war, which means there could be a lot of Ukraine’s POW held.

    7. Put 10 shots into an orc when you can put 20 . The fate that awaits all of putins orcs that remain in Ukraine 🇺🇦

    8. That is ~~by no means~~ *not really what anyone thinks of as* point-blank range.

Thats what happens when Russian claim Ukrainian territory without actually holding it.

Not sure if the ukrainian spoke to the russian in this to aid in the deception but i love when i see ukrainians speak russian for the purposes of baiting the russians lmaoo. it hits a nice warm cozy spot in my brain.

    11. You’d be second guessing yourself seeing this unrolling in front of you.

    12. The way he casually plops the gun in his hands and unloads from the hip. This is his Tuesday.

Ukrainians have balls of steel! He looked so casual bringing his gun up. Also hip firing is a lot harder than it looks.
