I want to note that in Finland, you can apply for a permit to carry pepper spray, if you can argue your case for it. It’s not perfect, people can be killed out of nowhere without a history of being targeted, but it is still a thing.

I heard the Netherlands might make it legal.

I haven’t seen anything about it in a while though. I hope it becomes legal.

So its illegal in Wokescandinavia and the country that police can mostly carry batons instead of actual guns.

Here in Poland. I carry it in my backpack… if I’m going somewhere shady, I put it in my pocket. I have to remember to leave it at home. If I’m going to an event/concert,

      It’s no problem anywhere here.

      I can’t run because I use crutches… so it’s come in handy a few times already…

Fun fact, pepper spray is banned from usage during warfare operations by the Geneva Conventions. So countries can use it on their own citizens but not on enemy combatants.

    7. So what is legal self defence in this countries? Outside hoping u can run faster?

    8. I always thought of pepper spray as a “defense weapon” so it being banned is quite strange for me.

In Germany Only Animal repellant Spray is allowed. Regular pepperspray is Counted as a weapon and can get you in trouble.
