My next google search was „how do the Russians get their war ships into the Caspian Lake“.

So pretty much if Ukraine keeps sinking Russians ships on both bodies of water- there will be no replacements since Turkey has declared that Russia is at war and wont allow any Russian warships to enter the Black Sea.
( and I learned they are not allowing any Black Sea fleet boats back into the Black Sea until the war is over )

I know that the Volga-Don Canal has locks along its path….sure would be terrible if the locks all failed…in a sequential pattern as to drain the canal.
