EU offers European market, European job markets, visa access, money, technology cooperation, say in European affairs, financial assistance, access to European education, greater leverage in non-Europe affairs, stability, etc.

EEU offers death in the trenches in Ukraine, economic slowdown, wartime economy, forced conscription, no assistance, etc.

Now that is a tough decision to make.
