I do not know Dossier as a source but I saw it quoted by [Courrier International](https://www.courrierinternational.com/article/strategie-le-kremlin-prepare-le-recit-d-une-fin-de-guerre-acceptable-pour-vendre-la-paix-aux-russes_243974), a reputable French source.
As sad as it is to continue this war one more hour or day than necessary, one has to think that it might be best for Ukraine to wait this out. Negotiating a peace at the current line of contact I think will haunt Ukraine for years and decades.

I think Russia wants to hit a twenty year pause button sort of what Germany did between 1918 and 1939. The ultranationalists of Germany always felt Germany won WW1. I guess the propaganda will include a “stab-the-back-myth” too.
The article still assumes Russia keeps Donetsk, luhansk and Crimea.
