    1. What the f*ck is this map even about? Because the most spoken second language in Hungary – and I assume, everywhere at this point – is english.

Serbo croatian is not official language, doesnt exist officially anywhere.

“Serbo-croatian” is not a real language. It’s either Croatian or Serbian.

Gotta love the downvotes, because surely, I, from Croatia, know nothing of my native language, but the enlightened westerners sure do, as always. Fucking cunts.

No way it’s Ukrainian in Poland/CR. Most of Ukrainians living abroad speak Russian as first language, and also considering Rus/Belorus population there, I think russian is the second most spoken one.

didn’t expect Hungarian in Slovakia, is that a historical influence?

    7. Switzerland’s second most common official national language is the second most-spoken language in the country? Truly insightful.

Turkish isn’t the second most spoken language in Germany. Even if we narrow it down to only native speakers. The second most spoken native language in Germany is most likely Russian by a good margin.

I doubt Romani is more widely spoken than German in Hungary. Most Lovara Roma are very assimilated and only speak a few sentances and other groups don’t speak Romanes (romugri and beás).

The vast majority of refugees are from Eastern Ukraine. I was living in the same dorm which was a temporary rwfugee center and haven’t heard a word in ukrainian language, this map could be wrong…

The second most natively spoken language in Hungary is German. A very few gypsies speak Romani nowdays (which I think is kinda sad, minority languages should be preseved)

Upvote because using the term central Europe with the correct map of central Europe.

    13. Slovenia, Poland and Slovakia being included into Central europe is thwir wettest dream 🤣

Second most spoken first language? I believe english would be the second everywhere otherwise. Also hungary is definitely not romani. While there are still some roma people who can speak it, hungarian is definitely their first language, so it would probably be ukrainian, german or romanian.

    15. How do you classify this so it isn’t just English? I’d imagine English is the *actual* answer if we just go by “number of inhabitants who can speak the language” but this map is more interesting
