Just to clear this up before somebody asks the question. The reason why a lot of Russian soldiers are alone is because they are sent to ‘run the gauntlet’ one by one until enough troops reach the rally point for them to wage an assault. Whenever they sent APC’s they always get annihilated all at once. This way they can try and slowly sneak enough people forward without being too noticeable.
