    1. Calling for the displacement of native TCs and their replacement with mainland Turks is genuinely insane. There is almost no opposition in the replies as well.

    2. As a Turk, I can confirm that they are speaking of nonsense. They don’t even know what they are dreaming of. It’s just trolling for interactions and nationalists‘ likes.

These kind of people do really exist among Turks of Turkey, and they’re not somehow insignificant in numbers (although, the whole nation isn’t about such maniacs, of course). Funnily, many of those would think themselves as ‚enlightened ones‘ compared to their general population, and they’d be also the ones that start the conversion with ‚we’re there to protect‘ and end with ‚you’re all thankless Greeks/devshirmes/wanna-be Brits! you don’t matter, Turkey does matter!1!!‘.

Anyway, their knowledge regarding the island would be about where it lies, and it’d be all about that, so meh.

There is a reason for the likes of you to search for „social media“ posts and those people to post these things on „social media“ and lets not forget about the social aspect of the ehole ordeal… The likes.

There is a fake ass narrative that is being oushed around. Anyone dumb rnough to belive it will do that no matter what so does not change a thing.

    5. many people from turkey think cyprus is its own thing not a province of turkey but either the north or the entire island is turkish and turkey is the savior that has done nothing wrong in cyprus or any other conflict involving other countries even though they hate everything the government does in turkey itself.

its mostly an indoctrination thing that makes even the non nationalist people act nationalist against countries/people that turkey has had conflict with, to be fair similar behavior can also be seen among greek cypriots, combine with the utter carelessness of turkish cypriots about anything and you have a problem that cant be solved.

this exact take in the first tweet is rare, but similar takes are quite common among turkish people that are like somewhat interested in politics but not enough to actually know stuff which is a lot of online discussions.

the idea of turkish cypriots being greek lovers that hate turkish people and are ungrateful for their saviors is a quite common idea that will come up almost any time there is an argument with turkish cypriots.

This is so corny coming from an illiterate man who was on coke probably. Daily Twitter users are usually drug users

The first message is obviously AI generated, seems to be bots at farming

    8. Just a bunch of random morons. You can probably find some Greeks saying similar things too. 🤷‍♀️
