CA does cover healthcare for immigrant children, but they do that with state funds only, not the matching funds the feds send. Federal Medicaid normally only funds emergency care for immigrants.

This could lead to my death. I’m Type 1 diabetic. I’m forced to stay on MediCal. If you don’t meet certain requirements, you can’t buy private plans. Now that the subsidies are gone, it’s not even affordable.
This will cause so much suffering. Unimaginable suffering. It won’t save us any money. People will end up with medical debt and further expensive and preventable complications. I’ll be forced to go back to old fashioned testing kits and insulin that doesn’t work right. If my kidney goes out, that costs the whole system far more money. It’s a $1.5 billion cut that will end up costing $3 billion down the road. Bankrupting the system for cruelty’s sake.
It’s almost like the federal government is trying to stoke an uprising.

Judith Negron committed $200 million in Medicare fraud.
Joseph Schwartz, a nursing home operator, committed $39 million in payroll tax fraud.
Ben Landa, another nursing home operator, allegedly committed $31 million in Medicare fraud and is under investigation.
