RIP, Donald Gibb aka Ray Jackson.
Though Revenge of the Nerds was your introduction to many of us, Bloodsport was the film where you won us over as the best Kumite wing man.

Also First And Ten. Donald Gibb was a stand out in whatever project he was involved.

The second best use of the words „Okay, USA!“
I know Bloodsport is a B movie, but Dux and Jackson had amazing chemistry in it. It’s the heart of the film.

He owned Rocky Cola Cafe in Hermosa Beach, CA during the 90’s. My family ate there regularly and he was always super kind and fun to joke with. He had a running joke with my grandmother that there was bad blood between them, she didn’t know who he was but genuinely loved him because of how fun eating at his restaurant was. Sad loss. Hope he’s at that all-you-can-beat nerd buffet in the sky.
