The funniest part of modern business news is that you genuinely can’t tell anymore whether a headline is real, parody, or something caused by meme-stock culture.

Surprising no one, eBay’s leadership wanted to continue growing a global business with its healthy niche and didn’t want to deal with billions in debt that a GameStop merger would’ve brought.

I’ve genuinely started using eBay more frequently. After canceling Amazon because of their audacious prices I noticed how outrageous their shipping was. Getting to $35 will usually wave it but you then have to wait an arbitrary number of extra days. On eBay you can likely find what you want in smaller quantities and free shipping for cheaper.

eBay doesn’t want to be stuck as a Funko Pop reseller?

When you’re trying to make a quick buck so decide to manipulate stock prices by announcing a bullshit acquisition that is based on complete fantasy and have no intention of following through.

Game Stop should diluted it’s cultists‘ shares even more, issue a trillion new shares, and buy Amazon. I’m sure the geniuses at SuperStonk will come up with „due diligence“ „youtube research“ explaining how that will expose a giant conspiracy theory, unlock the infinite money glitch, and make everyone on Earth a quadrillionare.
