Kagan, a known neo-conservative pundit, feels the Trump Administration has overextended itself in the conflict and miscalculated the cost-benefit analysis. Regardless of the damage US and Israeli strikes have wrought, he feels Iran could come out of the conflict stronger than before the start of the war.
For anyone who may want to know. This is the same guy who wrote the ‘Checkmate Iran’ article from The Atlantic which was posted just a couple days ago. Likely just rehashing many of the same points here, if you have already read it.
The United States lost this war with the first missle. And beginning a war by murdering schoolgirls doesn’t bode well.
Robert Kagan is the man who is ultimately responsible for the situation the US is in now. I’d say he’s one of the most disgusting personalities of the recent times, probably on par with Lindsey Graham and Trump himself.
