      A lot of folks in the comments are saying he wouldn’t do this because it would make Venezuelans citizens. We should all know better than that, they would never be citizens even if he annexed the country.

      Venezuelan immigrants are evil and dangerous, so we must deport all of them, including the legal ones. Because they are “invading” us.

      Then *we* invade Venezuela.

      Then we make Venezuela a *STATE,* which would then make all Venezuelans *American citizens.*

      Trump wanted to shut the borders in part because he claimed Venezuela was so full of criminals and mentally ill people, and they came the US illegally and he didn’t like that. Now, he’s considering making all those people he didn’t want in the US, a permanent part of the US?
