Aber so viele chinesische Arbeiter sieht man nicht.“

This is the real risk of anti-immigration movements. You stop people from 1st world countries with good work-life culture coming, but you wont stop chinese, they will always find a way. Majority of China is still poor country, they will work for peanuts and 24/7. Its worst kind of immigrant from standpoint of japanese youth who need to compete with them.
If some offices are reaching 70%, I can see how things could get out of hand if they don’t nip it the bud early.
I find it interesting that there are companies like Rakuten that go out of their way to force everyone to speak a foreign language in the office but then on the other end of the spectrum companies like these that hire an abundance of foreign workers and then ban foreign languages in the office. I wonder if Rakuten ever got to 70% foreign workers, would they still be so gung-ho about English.

It’s wild since in my country it’s the literal opposite. The people from mainland China just laze around and insult other people in their native languages while the Japanese staff is some of the hardest working.
