I just knew this would happen sooner or later. It‘s typical Japanese corporate to be upset about this

There is almost no marketing more effective than SLAMMED shows, where people are literally all over the building trying to sneak a peak or listen.

These dummies are doing themselves a disservice.

    3. They already have sold out tours and still want people to pay for their music. Maybe people showed up to the gates because they couldn’t get tickets for the gig? Cunts.

    4. If I am Mrs Green Apple rival or competition, I would say the opposite and attract more crowd.

    5. It’s not for greed. It’s that they’re inconveniencing the people who live or visit the venue surroundings. Idk if any of you commenters is in Japan but the majority of big city venues are not in the middle of nowhere, but in regular ass neighbourhoods. If a couple thousand people gather on the streets outside, it is a true disturbance.

Reminds of all that drama on X when Japanese got mad because people abroad were emulating a game server for a product which was discontinued

    7. That’s what people always did and will do. Peope here gathered on a hill next to the stadium to listen to Taylor Swift

    8. Marketing department: 🤨 if we make it illegal, then it’s free press and more people will try to do it.

    9. Have ppl actually read the article? They’re asking this because they’re inconveniencing the surrounding neighborhood and causing congestion. Also blame OP for making it sound like not paying is the problem.

    10. I donno, this seems pretty reasonable to me.

The purpose is to prevent overcrowding and disturbance to people who live in the general area surrounding the arena. This isn’t a “pay up if you want to listen to our ambient noise ya poor schmucks” angle.

And yes, it’s specifically framed in that manner in the article.

It’s bad enough I have to listen to their crap at the eki-mae jumbotron

    12. I’m going to take a massive shit outside their concert to try to help them by deterring fans.

I hope they get their biggest sound leakage audience ever at their next show.

    14. I can’t stand this group. It’s too popular. And for what?! Total brainwashed.

Isn’t this the same band that released that racist music video during COVID or something?
