    1. On average, 75% of people in the European Union say they feel like EU citizens. The highest share is in Luxembourg (92%), followed by Portugal (89%) and Spain (86%). At the other end of the scale, Greece records the lowest level at 56%, preceded by Bulgaria (57%) and Czechia (62%). Greeks also report the lowest levels of trust in the EU and the least positive perception of the bloc overall.

65% of france said that? No, I don’t think so, where are polling, along the border og Belgium?

    3. I would have liked them.to.ask in Swiss. Hahaha, just for knowing how many, if any, are not.paying attention

Hi from Germany. I heavily dislike the EU acting like they are above national laws and this whole stuff to turn all into one nation. I wish the EU was an economy alliance again… and for those that wish otherwise, it needs extreme improvements.

    5. Now why do they feel like this?  Considering the situation, Hungary has a surprisingly high number, at least IMO.

    6. pretty surprising that france has such a large difference of 65% versus it’s neighboring spain and germany with 81/86%. especially when france was a founding member of the EU

🤢🤮🤮🤮 I’m Italian, not just a citizen of something that doesn’t exist.

Here is a more interesting poll question:
„Do you feel more like EU citizens or citizens from your country“

My Greek friends got funked hard, by their own device. I always wonder how come they don’t have some dictatorship preying on their frustration. Much respect for lack of dictator. 🇬🇷 ❤️

it’s interesting how consistently these patterns have repeated over the decades

I have a hard time believing this, especially in the case of Spain. And not only because I personally don’t agree with the sentiment, either.

    12. I’m from Poland.

I lived, studied, and/or worked in UK (before brexit), Germany, the Netherlands and Belgium.

I travelled to Italy, France, Spain, Czechia, Croatia and Ireland.

All of this would have been either impossible or incredibly hard without the EU coning from a small polish village, as i do. I’m very grateful to be a European citizen, and it saddens me there are many anti EU notions in Poland right now.

During my life, I’ve also seen how my country has improved, majorly thanks to EU funding. Schools, parks, administrative buildings, so many have that little plaque saying „Dofinansowano ze środków unii europejskiej (funded from EU resources)“. We have better access to many commercial goods, freedom of movement, but most importantly, relative peace.

76% is not bad, but sadly there is a very loud minority in Poland and other EU countries that tries to persuade people EU is bad for their own benefit.
