Really interesting data mapping, I’ve been in a couple of those “shrinking towns”, always wished I had the opportunity to make a living and live in a place that’s been there for hundreds of years. Thanks OP, good read.

Crazy how you can see the East German impact still. I’m guessing that’s a combination of migration west and/or urbanization to Berlin.
