Its truly is a use whatever is available to you, love the ingenuity they have pulled off in this long ass war.

    2. I always love seeing these builds and what they use. I remember when they were wrapping rusty chainsaw chains around some a while back.

There are so many little factories like this where a significant amount of the work is manufacturing random bits of garbage for shrapnel.

I’m Canadian and it’s proven that during war, my country is pretty efficient. I think we might last one week against the Ukrainian military….they have become a well oiled, deadly force. I think the Israelis have a rather efficient military also. This isn’t a political statement, it’s an observation.

Those are some big fragments. Against infantry, you would expect fragments in the range of 5 mm. I suspect this is meant for vehicles and equipment.

Im fully aware that metal detecting in Ukraine will be dangerous for decades to come due to all of the unexplored ammunition that’s in the ground. But imagine the pain it would be detecting on a field where such shrapnel was used finding hundreds if not thousands of these small little pieces.
Was is absolute hell but regardless Slava Ukraini 🇺🇦
