I mean. I could say „It is just a seat“ and just that. 💺
But, on principle, this was not very humble. Not very Jenteloven.

Funny… I once got (very politely) kicked out of my seat at the bar in The Thief Hotel in Oslo when Her Royal Highness The Crown Princess of Norway came in with three friends and sat down near me. I ended up drinking all night with two Norwegian guys who thought it was hilarious that I had no idea why I’d been asked to move or who had sat down next to me.

I once flew with Prince Håkon on a SAS flight. As I approached the plane to board it I noticed the pilot was stood at the door with white gloves on, so I said “oh you don’t need to be so formal for me” he didn’t look to happy about my cheeky proletarian humour. Anyway Håkon got on 10 minutes later smiling effortlessly at the crew.

I had this happen to me with the president of Egypt a long time ago! I ended up being seated a few rows back with his security team

    5. A little while back we had to do this because of the crown prince and princess. Someone had dropped the ball and forgot to block the seats in the system on the rows where they and their security sit. So when a passenger check in at the airport he was automatically given the seat in between the prince and the princess. The captain discovered this when he arrived at the gate so he told the gate agent to reassign the passenger to a different seat, although it would have been funny to see everyone’s reaction if he let the passenger keep his seat.
