it’s so obvious that numbers are redundant
and yet many people want to go on a cruise instead of doing something a bit less bourgeoise

Yes but let’s defund SBB! Let’s not put any extra money on Climate change combat initiatives because ETH, EPFL, EMPA, WSL etc. are useless shit.
Ohh and while we are at it, let’s encourage more and more SUVs.

It’s funny how the climate denial arguments have changed over the last twenty or so years.
At first it wasn’t getting warmer
Then it was, but not because of us
Then it was because of us, but actually it wouldn’t be that bad
And now it might be that bad, but it’s not our fault because actually China and there aren’t enough of us for our overconsumption to matter
Just a constant moving of the goalposts each time there current argument gets discredited, but never actually rethink their beliefs
Remember, if the entire world lived like Switzerland, we would need 2.5 Earths for our needs. We may not be the country that deals the most damage, but we’re clearly not the exemple to follow. Blaming others is stupid, and it’s our fault as much as other countries.
The mentality of the entire world dooms us. We can’t change things anymore. We may try, but now, we have to adapt
On top of this almost 40 degree summers it was over 30 every day for 33 days last year in a row yet central AC is illegal but those super inefficient mobil AC are.
