If that sentence is upheld as it is, he is expected to be released from prison in his 90s (if he is still alive by then).
If the ex-prime minister gets 15 years, the ex-president should definitely get more than that. But in Korean politics, the people most responsible almost get slaps on the wrist and then the people that uphold the law mysteriously die or unalive themselves. When is someone actually going to have some spine and respect for the law. Rules for thee but not for me…
