The small bars mean more ships are going through. Fake news media once again misrepresenting the facts on the ground. /S

Put a global average oil price over it to show the pump and dump scheme at work.

So traffic basically failed to re-start despite the ceasefire. How much of this is related to insurance companies refusing to insure ships if they cross?

We should get rid of this dependency on oil!

I’ve seen people say that while important, it’s just 20% of the world’s blood that flows through there. The problem is beyond that, the LNG and refinary bombings are not counted in that statistic.

So how is oil only hovering around $100 with this much disruption to supply. Something must be filling the demand temporarily and when will that stop gap no longer be adequate or just not sustainable?

If this data is based off AIS signals, are there other visualization or sources that are tracking strait traffic for ships that may have their AIS turned off?
