Let’s see if BBC breakfast will interrogate him on air or someone else from Reform like they would with Labour. Or maybe we will get wall to wall coverage for three days about why he should resign like what they did with Kier Starmer after he was gifted a pair of specs?

Who am I kidding of course they won’t, that would go against the right wing agenda of the mainstream media.

      Corrupt to the core.

He will be a disaster for the UK, should Brits really vote for him. The very fact that Mr. Brexit is still relevant doesn’t bode well to say the least.

Legal doesn’t always mean transparent — that’s why disclosure rules get debated so much.

This donation is from a Thailand based crypto billionaire called Christopher Harbourne. Separate to this personal “gift” Harbourne has donated £22m to Farage’s Reform UK party.

On a separate and completely unrelated note – Reform have the most crypto friendly policy platform of all British political parties and Farage often speaks on air about London should become the most crypto friendly city in the world.

You meant, bribe. Nobody in their right mind gives 5mln as a gift and expects nothing in return..

    6. He said he was the most attacked MP in recent history.

      Mps have literally been murdered.

Does it work the same way for regular people too?

„I just got this £5m as a gift from my grandma“

That’s the 5 quids we KNOW about.

He should be investigated to the n^(th) degree – no stone unturned.

Surely there are parliamentary laws against this type of outright corruption?

    10. Please Brits, learn from us, there’s nothing good coming for you if this guy becomes PM.

It’s almost as if he was somehow trying to hide it by not declaring it 🤔 Spooky.

I fucking despise this twat more than anyone else. Fucked everyone over with the Brexit and now idiots are going to elect him to make it even worse.

    13. Look I know I shouldn’t judge a person by looks *alone* but combined with his personality he’s the embodiment of Innsmouth councillor

    14. UniquePariah on

I’m not surprised he has said that. I mean he’s completely wrong, there are parliamentary rules saying that you must declare things like that, but let’s be realistic, the man hasn’t got a fucking clue about the laws of this country.

I remember a few years ago when he said we would have a flat income tax system. Thing is, income tax in the UK is already mostly simple, it’s the USA where it’s more complicated than it needs to be and in both countries it would screw over the poor and massively benefit the rich. So he suggested that the first £10,000 or so would be tax free.

Anyone who has a clue about taxes is probably smacking their forehead right now, because he was describing the system we currently use. He didn’t know, but is still making policies on the fly because it sounds good.

He’s utterly clueless, as are the rest of reform as was ukip before.

As observed with the corruption of Trump in the US, voter’s taxes will get stolen and abused when you hire a conman, liar, and hypocrite to a leadership position.

The fact that Farage is still relevant in UK politics mirrors Trump getting voted in twice. But here the UK voted for Brexit, and are unsure if that was damage enough or if Farage should step in to deliver more punishment.

People who vote for these idiots are truly ignorant or, so ideologically driven that their preferential buzzwords are more valuable than any common sense.

    16. If there is any likelihood of UK rejoining EU in some way, it cannot come with Farage. That needs to be clear.

    17. The UK didn’t fuck themselves hard enough with Brexit, they have to elect Farage and reach the bottom of the bottom. Who knows what might be there? 0.000001% chance of hitting gold!

    18. KlutzyTranslator8006 on

The pathetic old cunt basically stated he’s as corrupt as Trump

What a cunning one. This likely isn’t the only donation he wants to conceal.

Unfortunately, despite everything, his party stands a good chance of taking the helm in Britain.

    20. „I’ve been the most attacked, physically, politician of modern times,“ Farage said.

„And yet despite repeated requests to the Home Office, the police, for protection and help, I’ve been denied at every twist and turn.

„This money is the only way I can look after myself, and protect myself for the rest of my life.“

Or you could perhaps try not being a colossal bell end?

    21. Express-Pay2740 on

Ok my British friends, we need to have a 🗣️FAMILY MEETING🗣️ if this guy and his party win the next election. We already had to navigate the fuckery of Brexit regarding the border, I can’t fathom what bullshit this guy will try to pull.

    22. He received this gift in the period between when he had walked away from British politics and when he became leader of reform for 5 years. If £5,000,000 from the reforms biggest donor isn’t worth declaring then I don’t know what is… but at least it’s not a pair of spectacles

    23. dannyreillyboy on

oh my god this is pure trump and never seen it so blatant and bad.

let’s apply logic, why would a billionaire ‘gift’ him 5 million to pay for his security for life! that’s not how the business world works! why would they not pay a security firm to fit out his home, or a pay a security company an annual fee to provide him with a bodyguard etc etc etc.

why give a 5 million lump sum which is then hushed up and not declared if it is a valid thing.

he has been badly caught and expose
