Same happened with cryptocom a few months ago, right?
I get that AI is slowly going to replace us all but if there is no one to earn a wage, who will consume the stuff that the AI produces?
Sweet, so now if we have any issue, we are just going to get more pissed about it because thats not gonna be any help.
So they blew $400M on a podcast that never came back and now they are cutting costs by laying people off?
Meanwhile CEO’s are saying they’re seeing very minor efficiency improvements from ai. So this should read, we are going to work the remaining employees harder to keep our head count low, does that make you happy stock holders?
When they realise that AI will cost them a fortune to maintain or gets their DB deleted and have to hike fees to cover higher cost it will be too late.
Also not sure who will pay for stuff if no one has a job
