Am 2. Mai veranstalteten Ukrainer in Amsterdam einen Gegenprotest während eines Marsches des russischen „Unsterblichen Regiments“. Die ukrainischen Demonstranten schlossen sich der Kolonne an und trugen Schilder, die russische Kriegsverbrechen dokumentieren, und ein Transparent mit der Aufschrift „Sterbliches Regiment“.
Der Russische Marsch feiert offiziell den Tag des Sieges am 9. Mai und wird in zahlreichen Städten weltweit legal durchgeführt. De facto dient es dazu, Russlands Angriffskrieg gegen die Ukraine zu legitimieren, indem es die Invasion als einen Kampf gegen den Nationalsozialismus charakterisiert.

I had a co-worker and at the start of the war she was pro everything and extremely proud at Russia and blabla motherland blabla… but now she’s all alone, can’t contact her family, her anti-putin son (born in the west) left her. She quit and tried to travel back but didn’t got far and came back.. she’s in a crisis, her whole world, her pride, her motherland everything collapsed and her once friendly neighbours avoid her.. These pro-russia people will face the same faith! The world they knew is no more and they try to hang on, keep there head up … but the fall will be high and hard!
