    1. How old were the men surveyed?

      The problem with stereotypes is they are not absolute and plenty of exceptions abound. Even if it was only 5% of the male population, that’s roughly 3 million people. And that’s not even considering men from overseas.

      Perhaps not the best age for starting a family, but I’m sure that plenty of men like women 35 years old and above.

      when I studied JP at uni 10 years ago they told me „women are like xmas cakes: they expire after 25“

      sooo, they’re getting better, I guess?

      Actually an improvement hilariously. In the past it was 25, then it was 30, now we are moving onto 35.

      What is the expiry date for men? Older men fathering children is associated with increased risk of birth defects and mutations as well as difficult pregnancies for their partners. It’s not a particularly big effect on offspring but it isn’t any different from the older maternal age myth perpetuated by misogynists.
