The Sheriff made some pretty spicy comments about the people they arrested:

What’s especially interesting is that the Sheriff is an elected Republican official, first elected sheriff in 2004. I’m might be cynical but it feels refreshing to see a right wing aligned LEO taking this terrible shit seriously and not just excusing it to protect the party. Maybe we’re starting to see some of the old school conservatives flex a little bit against the criminal wack jobs that have taken over since Trump showed up on the scene.
