I’d rather not disparage them excessively, but it’s hard not to when you see videos like this. How in the world does this even occur? The boots are at least semi-understandable (poverty + it’s better than nothing), but he’s literally lugging around an MG with a belt dragging on the ground under his feet and firing it by arching his back.
The difference between the Wazalendo militiaman seen here and your typical Ukrainian civilian who took up arms on 24 Feb is like night and day, even though both are poorly trained and equipped.
